Along the way, he encounters a snake named Vibrant who turns out to be a vicious monster. In the end, Karthikeyan realizes that he has to abandon the pursuit and marry Nandu who has become his wife.
Mani Ratnam’s “Nanban” is yet another remake. The movie is based on the novel “Nanban: Aparigraha”. Velayudham Song Khar once again stars as the main character. The book describes how a princess goes through mental and physical torture at the hands of her stepmother. Velayudham Shingkhar and Mani Ratnam came together to rescue the princess and save the kingdom.

Velayudham Shingkhar and Mani Ratnam also teamed up for the movie “Rakshasa”. The movie was a commercial hit in India and its sequel “Rakshasa: Godsend” is in the pipeline. Velayudham Shingkhar once again returns as a leading character in Velayudhamers dubbed movie “Nanban”. The plot of the movie revolves around a daughter (actor Priyadarshan Soman Nair) who is captured by terrorists and given to a warrior to be trained in warfare.
